Attorney Billie Herbert was born and raised in communist Eastern Europe. She is fluent in a few Slavic languages and has lived in many interesting places, but calls the United States her true home. After arriving in Miami, Florida, she completed her undergraduate degree in Medical Sciences with a focus on Biochemistry, but her route to medical school changed when she met her husband, a New York attorney who specialized in Immigration and Personal Injury. They partnered up to raise a family and run a law practice and made Texas their home—where Billie ended up studying law. She graduated with a J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas. She focused on Personal Injury, and Mass Tort, but Immigration Law held a special place in her heart.
As an immigration lawyer and the head of the law firm’s USCIC division, Billie is always ready to hear her clients and, if needed, advocate for them in front of an immigration judge. With the help of her staff—all immigrants themselves—Billie is currently learning Spanish to better serve her clients.
When Billie is not working out one of her offices in California, Utah, or Florida, Billie enjoys spending time with her family.
